Hi, my name is Hope. I am a beloved daughter of God who spends her time working, reading, knitting and trying to make sense of this crazy world. I live in the UK with my pet niffler William Marshal.

I am really interested in pop culture and stories, the narratives we tell ourselves and how this is shaped by, and shapes, our society.  I don't pretend to be an expert on this subject but it is something I enjoy musing upon. My posts look at the ideas popular culture explores and the strengths and pitfalls of doing this, I hope to get new posts up at least every two weeks, at least for now.
